bodyART – The extraordinary training for a new body awareness
BodyART is a holistic and functional body & mind workout, which means, that the focus is not only on shaping and training the body, but also releasing the mind and improving the concentration. Some people recognize a lot of similarities between yoga and bodyART, on the other hand, some people believe that bodyART differs from yoga. Actually, both have right. BodyART was inspired by yoga, that´s why you will find similar excercices. BodyART has, on the other hand, unique structure and postures, the tempo has more dynamic, but not intensive.
The goal of the training is to provide a sound foundation for and encourage people to live a healthier life. It is not only about the body and muscles itself, but teaches body awareness, helps improving body posture, flexibility and supports mental balance.
bodyART is about Strength, Harmony and Balance
All bodyART courses are performed barefoot without any equipment. Special breathing techniques which are taught during the training, will enhance your performance and mental concentration.
The excercises are created in a way that everybody at any age or fitness level can follow the movements and execute the postures. You will discover your body, you will challenge your physical borders, but after few weeks of regular trainings, you will feel the difference in your body, your mood and your energy level.
This experience energises your body and creates a powerful and lasting effect in your daily life.
The concept, developed by Robert Steinbacher, former movement therapist, dancer and choreographer, is lacking of any spiritual background. He and his team believe in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, but use also the results of science like orthopedics, physiotherapy. BodyART is a living concept, subject to continous development by Robert and his team.
